After working in the banking industry for 16 years, Aaron L. Love established his law practice in 2000 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Aaron was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1981 and received his Juris Doctorate from University of Kansas City Law School in 1981. Aaron graduated magna cum laude from Graceland College in 1977 with a B.A. in Business. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Wealth Counsel, and Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Love’s extensive background in banking and trust administration provide him a keen understanding of the multitude of issues involved in his primary areas of legal practice, which include: Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Business Planning.
Aaron has exceptional skills enabling him to equip individuals and families through the unique issues of each season of life. He emphasizes old-fashion client service by taking the time to: listen to the facts presented by his clients; educate them on their options; and then develop a thorough, customized plan to meet the clients’ needs. Brenda Love
Account Manager
Brenda is celebrating over 10 years of private practice with her husband Aaron. Brenda serves as Account Manager of the law office. Her responsibilites include accounts payables & receivables, coordinating community events and seminars hosted by the law office. Brenda oversees logistics for monthly events as well as participates in ”Celebrating Our Stories” music program. She is exceptional at exhibiting hospitality from our office to our clients and the community. After eighteen years as a speech pathologist, Brenda came home to raise the four Love kids. She is most fulfilled being the support and back-up crew for Aaron and their busy family. Brenda enjoys serving at Summit Christian Acadamy, wedding planning, and enjoys adding the embellishments in the law office. Brenda’s passions include helping others, cooking, entertaining, teaching third and fourth grade Sunday School and leading women’s Bible studies at her church.

Cindy Stokes
Client Services Manager
If you have called our office, chances are, you have heard the cheery voice of Cindy Stokes, our Client Services Manager. Cindy is a Lee’s Summit girl! Graduating from Lee’s Summit High School in 1981, she then attended Longview Community College, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration in 1983. After retiring from her position as Senior Vice President of the Bank of Lee’s Summit after 24 years of service, Cindy joined the law practice in 2007. She currently serves as Chairman of the membership committee for the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the Board of Directors for a local pregnancy resource center and Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street Inc. Married to Jeff, her high school sweetheart, Cindy lives on 80 acres, helping him raise horses, and Coriente cattle. Cindy and Jeff are blessed with three lovely daughters, and recently added a son-in-law to the family. Along with her many passions and responsibilities, Cindy is active in her church’s Youth Program and adult Bible study, and she and Jeff own an online development business.

Gina Rookstool
Public Relations Director
Gina joined our team in October of 2008. Her position allows her to build relationships with local businesses and individuals throughout our community, educating them on the importance of Legacy Planning. Gina is active in the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for Jackson County Professionals in Aging. Gina recently launched a successful and unique networking group called “Table for 8”℠. She was also instrumental in commencing the “Jackson County Share Group.” Gina and her husband direct a Non-Profit organization called Wilderness Camp Ministries that serves at-risk youth through mentoring and life-skill projects. She is a volunteer for Rachel House in Lee’s Summit as well as having the privilege of co-directing several events for women surviving cancer. With a background in Marketing and Design, some highlights of Gina’s career would be the development of “Effective Aesthetics in the Workplace”. Gina has been blessed with two beautiful children and one grandson. She and her family attend Abundant Life Baptist Church in Lee’s Summit. Jodie Stokes
Administrative and Legal Assistant
When you walk through our doors, you will see the bright smiling face of Jodie Stokes. Jodie also joined our team in October of 2008. She is very busy as legal assistant, as well as marketing assistant. Her position allows her to do a variety of tasks. This includes assisting with documents and other client matters and “behind the scenes” work in marketing and advertisements. While in school she played volleyball for six years, was active in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and DECA (Delta Epsilon Chi – a Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship organization). Jodie has worked in various other positions, including currently owning her own online development business. Jodie enjoys music, having participated in a National award winning show choir, while attending Pleasant Hill High School. She now acts as lead singer in her church’s Worship Team as well as serves as the Youth Director. Jodie’s passions include singing, dancing, sports, fishing, traveling, and wanting to make a difference in the lives of everyone she meets. We are blessed to have Jodie as part of our legacy planning team.

Lisa Riffle
Client Services
Lisa joined our team in December of 2010, bringing with her over 18 years of experience in member service in the banking industry. Lisa’s responsibilities include preparing Veteran Benefits and Medicaid applications. Her strong attention to detail coupled with customer service experience is a great asset to the practice. Lisa is passionate about her family; she enjoys country music, live concerts, yoga and theater. She and her family attend Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church. In her spare time, you will find Lisa volunteering and attending her children’s school and extracurricular activities. Lisa graduated from UCM with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations.
